Dear Community,
Over the past few days, development focused mainly on improving the controls for the Hero, Auction House, Smithy, and Editor menus. That work also led to a new approach for the equipment-based visual customization requested by players.
Improved Controls
The bottom menu has been completely redesigned.
- Buttons are spaced further apart.
- Labels are always visible.
- The Editor is easier to use.
- A color indicator now shows the dungeon's current state.
- Saving and validating or playing now use separate buttons.
Editor confirmation dialogs were also revised so unsaved-change prompts only appear when the dungeon was actively edited.
Extracting Models
The artisan can now extract models from legendary items. This destroys the legendary item, but permanently unlocks its appearance so the hero can use that look later.
Hero Appearance Expansion
Each visible inventory slot can now be configured separately.
Players can choose between:
- The currently equipped gear
- No gear
- Previously extracted legendary item models
The announcement also mentions future appearances that may come from events or bundles.
Loot Chance Overhaul
After collecting data and statistics over several weeks, new mechanics were added to make loot feel fairer and more rewarding for long grinds.
The exact details remain internal for now, but the stated goal is to smooth out bad luck streaks and improve the overall loot experience.
The team is especially interested in player feedback and experiences with the new system.
